Patients with spine problems always have confusion about whether to consult an orthopedic surgeon or a neurosurgeon. The National Board of examinations came out with a spine surgery fellowship where the spine surgeon gets trained under both Orthopaedic surgeon and neurosurgeon.

Dr.C.S.Vishnu prasath completed his MBBS from Salem Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College in 2004.

He did his M.S(ortho) from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences – Rohtak., Haryana in the year 2009.

He worked as a Senior Resident of Orthopaedics in Ramakrishna Hospitals Coimbatore and Vinayaka Missions Medical College Hospital – Salem between 2009 – 2011.

He did his Fellowship in Spine Surgery (FNB Spine Surgery) from Ganga Hospitals Coimbatore from 2011- 2013.

He joined as a Consultant Spine Surgeon in SKS Hospital – Salem in July 2013.
