Sensing a long felt need,
the promoters of SKS Hospital formed VS Educational Trust (VSET),
a non-profit organisation, in 1993 to provide quality nursing
education. VSET has been running the SKS School of Nursing in
the premises of SKS Hospital.
Every year 20 students are selected
based on strict academic criteria and undergo a 3 year residential
program to make them qualified nurses. After gaining their diploma
they then spend a year working at SKS Hospital to further fine
tune their skills. Intrested students get further training in
specialties as Operation Theatre Nurse, Dialysis Nurse, Paedatric
Nurse and ICU Nurse to name a few.
Due to the extensive hands on training
and experience gained our graduates are in demand whereever
they go.
