Medical Education (CME)
Our hospital has organized several CME programs for the benefit
of doctors in various specialties like Urology, Neurology, Neuro-Surgery,
Paediatrics, Cardiology, Nephrology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology,
General & Laparoscopic surgery, etc.

Free Medical Camps
We have organized free medical camps in and around Salem
for the benefit of the poor and needy. Free Consultation, Investigations
& Medicines are given to attendees. Any patient that requires
further treatment or follow-up in the hospital is given free
care where possible or concession.

Awareness Programs
Health awareness programme have
been periodically organized in order to create awareness among
the public with regard to accident and first aid emergencies.
There is an ongoing project with the Rotary Club of Salem South
to conduct first awareness programs amongst school students.

Vaccination Programs
SKS Hospital provides help during the Pulse
Polio program of the Government by contributing staff nurses
for the administering of the vaccines. Hepatitis-B Vaccine is
provided to the public at minimum cost to the public in association
with Rotary Club of Salem South

First aid booths are provided during public events free of cost.

Staff Association
SKS Hospital Staff Association is the first ever association
formed from a private hospital for its employees all over Salem
District.

The Mission
To bring out and develop the extra curricular activities
of each individual
To cultivate good reading habits
To spend regular time in playing indoor as well as outdoor games
daily
To take part in matches conducted at Zonal/District levels
To develop good inter personal relationship and above all
To create social responsibilities and awareness to protect natural
resources
The association has a tie-up with the district central library
and a private library to provide more than 10,000 books to it's
members In addition to this regular newspapers and magazines
are being purchased in English & Tamil.
Reputed personalities are invited to give motivational speeches.
As the step towards saving the natural resources the association
has planted 100 trees in the Fairlands area where the hospital
is located and more than 200 seedlings/saplings and plants are
about to be planted in the surrounding Hills.
A team of 15 members from the association went to Kumbakonam
with medicines to provide service to the victims to the fire
accident on 17/07/2004 and the honourable collector of Tanjore
Dr. S. Radhakrishnan received our medicines and honoured us
for our timely service to the victims.
